ABP Portal Temporarily Closing TODAY – November 1

As first announced on September 30, 2021, the ABP portal will temporarily close to new project submittals TODAY, November 1, 2021 at 5:00 PM CPT. In a change from a previous announcement, the planned update to the Distributed Generation Disclosure Form will not take place at this time and will be deferred until early 2022. As a result, the Distributed Generation Disclosure Form will remain available and unchanged during portal closing and reopening.

All projects submitted in batches on or prior to portal closure today at 5:00 PM CPT will be added to the existing waitlist for the relevant Group (A/B) and category (Large DG/Small DG) pending payment of the application fee within 10 business days of batch submittal (no later than November 16, 2021 for batches submitted on November 1, 2021). The project portal will open again for new project applications on December 14, 2021. Please note that all applications submitted prior to the portal closure TODAY at 5:00 PM CPT that are <=25 kW AC will be classified as Small DG and added to the Small DG waitlist.

Any Part I applications that have been started but not submitted in a batch by the time of the portal’s temporary closure TODAY at 5:00 PM CPT will be reset to Step 1 and become available again for editing and submittal upon the reopening of the portal on December 14, 2021.

While the portal is temporarily closed, Approved Vendors will have read-only access to all of their Part I applications. The ability to generate and submit Disclosure Forms and submit Part II applications in the portal will remain available throughout this time. Distributed Generation Disclosure Forms generated for customer signature prior to December 14th will not be impacted by this change and will still be eligible for use with a project application.

Additionally, no additional projects will be taken off Program waitlists to fill existing capacity during this period of portal closure.  Details for the portal opening on December 14 for new block capacity will be addressed at an upcoming webinar scheduled for December 13, 2021.

For questions regarding the temporary closing, please reach out to the Program Administrator at [email protected] or at 877-783-1820.
