Supplementing previous guidance, the Program Administrator seeks to continue supporting stakeholders in the avoidance of project applications entering Need Info status.
- Metering Device Identification – The Program Administrator has observed some project applications including incorrect identification of the metering device, resulting in a Need Info request which delays application verification. For example, some applications indicate Enphase microinverters as the metering device for the project; however, Enphase products utilize unique instruments to provide accurate communication of solar production from the microinverters to the monitoring portal, and in systems utilizing this equipment, the IQ Combiner Box or the IQ Gateway is considered the metering device. Ensuring the correct metering device is indicated in the project application can help avoid delays in application processing.
