Part I and Part II ABP Application Changes

< Back to Vendor Updates

The Program Administrator has implemented several changes to the Part I and Part II project application, each of which represents the addition of a new optional field. The inclusion of this additional information will facilitate the Program Administrator’s review of the underlying applications, which is of benefit to all Program participants. As a result, the Program Administrator highly encourages Approved Vendors to include the requested optional information in as many project applications as possible:

Part I changes:

  • A new optional field has been added in Part I for the Approved Vendor to provide detail on the relationship between the utility account holder and the property owner/project owner, if they differ. Providing this information with the Part I submission will avoid the additional step of the Program Administrator having to issue a Need Info request for this information.

Part II changes:

  • A new optional upload field has been added in Part II for an as-built project diagram for systems greater than 250 kW AC. Providing this information with the Part II submission will avoid the additional step of the Program Administrator having to issue a Need Info request for this information.

Changes that apply to both Part I and Part II:

  • A new optional field has been added in Part I and Part II for the Approved Vendor to provide the total number and type of each inverter. This information is helpful for application review in all circumstances but is particularly useful during review of Large DG projects (those larger than 10 kW AC) and projects of any size that utilize microinverters.

The Program Administrator highly encourages Approved Vendors to provide information in the new optional fields in order to facilitate a more efficient review of project applications. The CSV template and API connection have been updated to account for the new optional fields, but because only optional fields are added, there is no associated required change to any CSV or API connection. Should you have questions about any of these changes as they relate to CSV, API, or in general, please contact the Program Administrator at [email protected] or (877) 783-1820.
