In an effort to help customers better understand the technical specifications of their systems, the Illinois Shines Program Administrator has released a Best Practices for System Design and Evaluating Proposals page on the Illinois Shines website. This page explains tilt and azimuth, ranges and averages for each among systems in the Program, and additional factors to keep in mind when considering a solar system proposal.
Approved Vendors and Designees can direct customers to this page for information regarding system specifications that are important to a well-informed evaluation of a system proposal.
