The Illinois Power Agency would like to thank all stakeholders who provided comments on the recent request for comments about system design criteria. After reviewing the submitted feedback, the Agency has elected to approach the issue in the following ways:
- Develop a page on the Illinois Shines website to educate customers and potential customers about optimizing system design, and to provide information about typical ranges for specifications of solar photovoltaic systems participating in the Adjustable Block Program. The Agency anticipates implementing this during the summer of 2021. Once implemented, minor changes to the Distributed Generation Brochure and/or Disclosure Form may be made to reference this new resource.
- Develop a more detailed approach to addressing system design criteria through the Long-Term Renewable Resources Procurement Plan revision process which is scheduled to begin in June 2021 through stakeholder workshops.
