A new required rec_passthrough_explanation field has been added to the Illinois Shines API that requires companies to specify in a Disclosure Form how a promised REC incentive will be passed through to the customer. This explanation is required if the REC incentive passthrough (rec_customer_payment) is greater than 0.0, and is available only to customer-owned (Project Purchase) Distributed Generation projects. Updated documentation for this new field is available to API users in Greenhouse.
