To alleviate the known challenge of the lost availability of the federal Investment Tax Credit, Small DG customer-owned projects on the 2026 REC Contract may be eligible for a $20/REC adder during the 2026-27 Program Year. A project will only be eligible if it:
- Is a Small DG category project
- Is identified as customer-owned in the Part I application
- Has not received or will not receive an ITC or residential clean energy tax credit
If the customer intends to receive the adder, both the Disclosure Form and the application must be marked as electing to apply for the adder. A project may face Need Info delays if there are discrepancies in responses.
