A new optional eec_rec_adder_eligible field has been added to the Illinois Shines API that enables companies to specify in a Disclosure Form if a project will be submitted to the EEC Distributed Generation category and therefore eligible for the $5/REC adder that is applied to the Estimated REC Incentive calculation. This field is available only to EEC-certified Approved Vendors or Designees acting on behalf of EEC-certified Approved Vendors and applies to all three Distributed Generation Disclosure Form types (Project Lease, Power Purchase Agreement, Project Purchase). Updated documentation for this new field is available to API users in Greenhouse.
EEC-certified AVs or Designees acting on behalf of EEC-certified Approved Vendors can now use the Portal or CSV upload to specify in a Disclosure Form that a project will be submitted to the EEC Distributed Generation category and therefore eligible for the $5/REC adder that is applied to the Estimated REC Incentive calculation. This enhancement applies to all three Distributed Generation Disclosure Form types (Project Lease, Power Purchase Agreement, Project Purchase). The CSV templates for all three Distributed Generation Disclosure Form types have been updated to include this new field. Note that for CSV upload, no automatic calculations are performed for the expected REC value, so that amount will need to be manually updated to include the $5/REC adder if applicable.
