Large DG project applications must include photographs providing evidence of module count that matches data submitted in application fields. An inability by the Program Administrator to verify the module count via photographs can delay application review and result in a Need Info request that can delay project approval. Tips for submitting photographs that allow for complete module count include:
- Labeling photos to demonstrate how they correspond to submitted site maps, ensuring you aren’t submitting duplicate photos of the same modules, and utilizing aerial drone photos (though not required), are all good strategies for avoiding Need Info requests.Ensuring photos have strong resolution and taking the photos where landmarks are visible (where applicable) are also helpful in confirming module count.
- As a general rule, if the AV can’t quickly discern and count modules via photographs, the Program’s application processing team may have the same difficulty, likely resulting in a Need Info request.
