Dear Consumer Protection Working Group Stakeholders,
The Program Administrators and Illinois Power Agency are proposing a change to the cadence of Consumer Protection Working Group meetings. At the inception of the Programs, these meetings were set to run on a monthly cadence. Having monthly meetings allowed for regular feedback from participants on consumer protection-related matters as significant new Consumer Protection initiatives were launched and developed. We are now proposing moving meetings to a quarterly, rather than monthly, cadence. We believe this shift will provide a richer agenda and more robust discussion from stakeholders.
We propose continuing meetings on the first Friday of the month, on a March, June, September, December cadence. If adopted, the next Consumer Protection Working Group meeting would take place on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. CST. Should circumstances require, we could always schedule a special meeting outside of this cadence and would endeavor to provide stakeholders with at least two weeks’ notice of such a meeting.
