< Back to Vendor Updates

The Illinois Power Agency seeks public comment on several proposals to update consumer protection documents for both Illinois Shines (Adjustable Block Program) and Illinois Solar for All. The Agency proposes to streamline the Disclosure Forms, create new consumer protection requirements, and clarify existing requirements.

The Agency published a packet of thirteen Consumer Protection Proposals for Public Comment on December 2, 2022. Each proposal includes background information, a description, redline edits to the relevant Program documents, questions for feedback, and referenced exhibits. The documents can be found at https://illinoisshines.com/consumer-protection/ and are also linked here: Proposal PacketExhibit 1Exhibit 2, and Exhibit 3. A reference table at the above-listed page at the Illinois Adjustable Block Program website lists each proposal and its associated deadline for comments.

Comments on Proposal #1, Updated and Streamlined Disclosure Forms, are due: December 30, 2022. For ease of commenting, the Agency added Microsoft Word versions of each of the 16 Draft Disclosure Forms, across both Illinois Solar for All and the Adjustable Block Program, at https://illinoisshines.com/consumer-protection/. Stakeholders are invited to use either these versions or the Exhibit 1 PDF to provide feedback on any or all of the Drafts that are part of Proposal #1. Feedback on Proposals #2-13 are due: January 27, 2023.
