As previously shared, effective March 11, 2025, PVWatts® Calculator will no longer be available to provide the “address” query parameter required in project application submissions, including estimated system production and associated contractual REC delivery amounts.
The Program Administrator has identified and will implement a solution which will automatically resolve the new PVWatts requirement for latitude and longitude from applications upon running the REC calculator. There will be no user requirement to add coordinates when submitting applications. For systems with multiple arrays, the automation will run the address correction for each array, requiring some additional processing time which users may notice.
A maintenance window to implement these changes into the portal, including making the coordinates fields required, has been scheduled for this evening, March 10, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. CPT during which time the Portal will be unavailable.
