Small DG Customer-Owned Project Adder

Approved Vendors can now use the CSV upload to specify in a Disclosure Form that a project is eligible for the Small Distributed Generation customer-owned REC adder and therefore eligible for the $20/REC adder that is applied to the Estimated REC Incentive calculation. This enhancement is available only to customer-owned (Project Purchase) Distributed Generation projects where the Project Size (AC kW) <= 25. The CSV template for Distributed Generation Project Purchase Disclosure Forms has been updated to include this new field.

A new optional customer_owned_rec_adder_eligible field has been added to the Illinois Shines API that enables companies to specify in a Disclosure Form if a project is eligible for the Small Distributed Generation customer-owned REC adder and therefore eligible for the $20/REC adder that is applied to the Estimated REC Incentive calculation. This field is available only to customer-owned (Project Purchase) Distributed Generation projects where the Project Size (AC kW) <= 25. Updated documentation for this new field is available to API users in Greenhouse.

This enhancement is available only to customer-owned (Project Purchase) Distributed Generation projects where the Project Size (AC kW) <= 25.

AVs can now certify in Part 1 – Section 2 and Part 2 – Section 1 of a project application that the Small Distributed Generation customer-owned $20/REC adder is being requested for the project. This certification applies to all Distributed Generation project types (Residential, Non-Residential, Government, Non-Profit, House of Worship) for Small Distributed Generation customer-owned (Project Purchase) projects or customer-owned projects where the project category is EEC and the EEC category is Small Distributed Generation.
