These materials are designed to support all participating entities, regardless of project category that they participate in.  

For additional reference, interested entities may wish to review the Presentation Recordings and slide decks from the 2023-24 Program Year Mentorship Pilot Program which cover a range of topics including Program overview, REC contracting, project applications, ongoing Program requirements, Marketing best practices and consumer protection, and more. 

Disclosure Forms are an important consumer education tool that customers can use to understand key project information and to compare offers. In addition to these materials, the Disclosure Form Deep Dive tool is a helpful resource solar vendors may wish to review.

An AV or Designee may appeal a decision or action of the Program Administrator or request an exception from particular Program guidelines due to extenuating circumstances. Appeals should be submitted on company letterhead and should include a rationale, and any necessary supporting information, documents, or communications. Appeals must be submitted

Application Tips and Tricks – Consider Creating New Disclosure Forms 

If an Approved Vendor is facing challenges in tracking down an original signed Disclosure Form or original Disclosure Form signature tracking pages, an option to satisfy the Disclosure Form requirements is to create a new Disclosure Form to submit for the application after the customer has re-signed.

Application Tips and Tricks – Exact Project Values and Rounding in Project Applications 

Whenever possible, data values for project details should be exact and aligned when provided in the Program Portal, documentation, and applicable registries. However, some portal fields do not allow for decimals. In these instances, AVs should round to the nearest available value.
